Glasvan to showcase autocar E-ACTT electric shunt truck at truck world show

MISSISSAUGA, Canada, March 28, 2022 – Glasvan Great Dane (www.glasvangreatdane.com) is offering the first of its kind emissions-free, all-electric version of its Autocar ACTT terminal tractor, the E-ACTT to the Canadian market. The new Autocar all electric shunt truck leaps beyond current industry regulatory standards in fuel consumption reduction through a total transition from diesel power to zero-emission electric.

The Autocar E-ACTT boasts an electric powertrain with telemetry and diagnostic systems that are designed specifically for severe-duty application. The E-ACTT truck is capable of handling the rigorous demands of semi-trailer yard spotting and container handling. Its leading-edge temperature-controlled lithium-ion battery fast system charges up to 90% in 2 hours with run-time options of up to 22 hours on a single full charge.
